Ruby is currently in the middle (hopefully) of a nasty cough that has apparently been making it's rounds. Cousins have had it, now it's her turn (and we think Dad's next.) We are going crazy with zinc, vitamin C, and essential oils over here. Lately, Ruby has really been into laying in our bed reading books. It is absolutely heart-melting to watch her, or better yet- lay down and read beside her.

oh.my.goodness ... this is my all time favorite author and have purchased so many of those books for my children when they were growing up! {actually i still have my collection if Ruby wants to come to Adopted-Auntie Jan's place for an hour or so ...} very cute capture!
