now I am older and wiser and training for a half marathon. the determination and strength it takes to complete one was quite an intriguing thought to me. stick to a training schedule? sure i'll try it. fix up my diet? bring it on. get a proper amount of rest? that's my middle name!
so wish me luck as I eat some fancy runners food and hold a fancy water bottle and go run 6 miles to prepare for the Zeitgeist... my first halfsie marathon!
