Does it get cuter than this!? Our little Rubes is growing like a weed. Not so much in the weight category, but every other category. At 8 weeks Ruby is:
- Following things with her eyes, and turns her head when she hears you talk. (most of the time)
- Being awake for a lot more of the day... which means more play time with mom! (and more time she wants to be held!)
- She has gained a few nicknames, including Rubes, Rubert, Rupert, Reuben, and of course... schquiggly worm
- She smiles, coos and jabbers a lot, especially after she has eaten
- She took her first international trip at 6 weeks and did wonderful in the car! Slept the entire way to Canada. Had a little trouble here and there on the journey back but all in all, she was a trooper!
- Roughly 10 pounds (we will find out the official number at her 2 month appointment)
- Really good at holding her head up, and loves to 'stand' and sit up
