very humble abode

here it is! the grand tour you have all been waiting for! okay. upon walking in the front (and only) door of our apartment, this is the view:

notice the curtains. nice touch! (jersey sheets. best thing ever invented. however due to the climate we currently have flannel adorning our matress. great summertime sheet though!) turn to the left...sink and microwave, along with other essentials: scentsy (the hallways here stink like Danny Beck's dog kennels up in Hay River. although it brings back great memories, it's not exactly the scent I want associated with my marriage.) candy jar (which is actually a bowl. Blake is a firm beleiver. currently we have jolly ranchers! come visit and you can have some!)

now turn to the right...
stove. for the first 2 weeks we thought the oven was broken. upon summoning the building owners, he informed us all we had to turn was turn the dial from OFF to BAKE. kids in this day and age, not used to having to turn dials for ourselves! what happened to pushing a button and it's done for you?! This might take some getting used to.

continue forward on the right and you will see this:
we decided to get our own internet in the apartment. it was a wise decision! when Blake called to pay our bill, we were informed that when we signed up for internet there was a promotion going on... 2 months free! sweet deal. we also have a printer (lifesaver) and of course, fire extinguisher (double lifesaver.) not to mention skis (we use them every wednesday.)

continue down this wall and we find...

oh what a beautiful thing! One of the smartest things we've done is signed up for Netflix. 9 bucks a month, unlimted movies. Blake even agreed to put twilight in our queue! (Thanks to Tim and Kara for the SWEET tv! we would die without it.)

take a peek into the bedroom. (no surprises, I promise.)this room is my favorite. a bedspread I built, a picture of my favorite place ever, a cedarchest from my dearest grampa, a dresser from my other grandpa, and my other snuggle buddy: Huntington. the door in the back leads to this:

reppin' the Indian painting, Ang! Blake gets to admire it everytime he pees! (The RVCA sticker was a gift from the last tenants.. so was the hair and gunk in the drawers, the dirty floors, and the stinky fridge.)

Here's the closet, and my LOVE!

such a handsome boy! look at those eyes. man I love him!

bring it all back for a reverse view:
we may complain, but we don't really have any complaints. cheap rent, hot water, no rodents, internet, close to campus, queen sized bed. and we are together.
