It is hard to discuss ideas. The world has been around for a while and there have been people on it for a LONG TIME, so a lot of ideas have already been taken. It's easy to discuss events, but hard to NOT discuss the people in these events. I have a small mind. I talk about people, how annoying it is when people are late, when people are rude at work, when road-bikers are in the middle of the road (see, i'm doing it now.) but from HENCEFORTH I am going to try harder to be a nice person. I am going to embrace differences. Embrace that we are not all just a cookie-cutter version of someone else. Embrace that maybe some people like to dip their pb&j in milk before they eat it. (me, cough cough) I am going to be patient, and help teach. I am going to compliment my peers. Tell them how nice they look or how great a job they're doing. I am going to make people smile.
I needed this post. This is a great goal to have and I think I may just join you in the undertaking. Also - I'm SO excited to do this Waterton-Glacier Relay with you and your family! Can't wait to see you soon!
