favorite movies
let me just start by saying that I have never seen Ferris Beuller's day off, and have never managed to sit through a Christmas Story. PHEW glad I got that off my chest. I am really not big into movies, but when I find one I like I watch it over, and over, and over, and over. so here goes.
1. Elizabethtown- I first saw this movie when I went to visit Amy in Hawaii. none of her friends liked it, but I did. Now it is my go-to feel good movie.
2. Princess Bride- can't go wrong here. And it's so quotable! "No more rhymes now I mean it! Anybody want a peanut?"
3. Monty Python and the Holy Grail- I would watch this pretty much every weekend in junior high. I haven't seen it in forever but I do own it, so if anyone wants to join me, come on over.
4. 3:10 to Yuma- I watched this once and looooved it. Russell and Christian are amazing.
5. There Will Be Blood- love how different this movie is. mostly quiet, and then it throws your for a loop at the end!
6. Donnie Darko- this movie reminds me of high school.
7. Wolverine- I love superhero movies to begin with, and Hugh Jackman? nuff said.
8. Moulin Rouge- not-your-ever-day-love-story with some great songs to sing along to.
9. LOTR- I seriously love the lord of the rings trilogy. seriously.
10. Grizzly Man- I am a sucker for documentaries, and the story of timothy treadwell is no exception. I first saw this in rexburg and fell in love with the idea of moving to the Alaskan wilderness and continuing life as one of the bears. until i discovered the outcome of Tim.
and now watch this trailer for a documentary I am dying to see...
ha ha is That for real?? I will come watch monty python with you....love.
