recent thoughts on life...

to the family who came to get breakfast at 12:30: we stop serving breakfast at noon on saturdays. you may not get breakfast after that point. I told you I would ask our cook. YOU went right ahead and asked her yourself. she said yes. she probably would've said no to me. that was smart. and you gave me a good tip for it. but if you ever do it again I might rage. at least if its on one of my off days. which it was.

to amy: I very much appreciate the music you sent me. I freaking love rankin family and it makes me want to have a SoAb summer. and to dropbox: you are the best thing ever invented.

to the tv: stop sitting on my record player. I want to blare my eagles, sublime, and billy joel records. I realize you can't do much about this, and someday we will splurge and get a wall mount for you. but for today, just MOOOOOVE!!!!

to blake: where did this new found obsession with HACKING come from? watch out people, he's on to something.

to myself: you made a lot of money in tips this pay period. I think its because you started showering and wearing big earrings and perfume and lip gloss. it's all the Real Housewives of OC you've been watching. people like that. keep it up.

to the creeper 35 year old who was out on St Patty's Day with his girlfriend and lovechild: you are a creeper. don't ask 21 year old married girls to lunch when you JUST told her you were out with your girl. not to mention you're not my "type." type being the kind that downs a 12 pack of coors yourself. but thanks for the $20 tip.

to the drunk man at the bar: you are an idiot. keep your thoughts to yourself.

to EVERYONE at the merc on St Patty's Day: it is 11 o'clock. we close at 9. it is a wednesday. your kids have school in the morning. go home, PUT YOUR KIDS TO BED, and then maybe drink yourself into a dark abyss where you will find a hole filled with spiders and centipedes to crawl into.
