jigitty jig.
here's the thing. "home" has become a real strange word lately. home can mean several things.
1. the Cole house, where blake and i currently live in their basement.
2. my house in canada
3. raymond alberta
4. blake's parents house.
5. our unfinished apartment
so i just don't know where home is right now because i wouldn't classify someone else's basement as home. but if the old saying rings true, "home is where your heart is" then home is 207 N 200 E Raymond Alberta Canada t0k 2s0.
which ISN'T to say I don't love Boise, cause I do. and I love the people here. but meeting new people and leaving behind everyone i knew so well is hard. i do miss knowing who is getting married, who is moving, who is the newest scentsy rep, which teens have been knocked up, how the raymond comets are doing, who is building a new house, and i especially miss working at the hardware store and seeing the regulars and talking about my siblings and their children and who is the next to go to BYU Hawaii.
i found this quote that says
"home is where you can say anything you please because nobody pays attention to you anyway."
that reminds me of when the Dudley family gets together in waterton and its raining outside and there are 35 people crammed in the cabin and noone can here what anyone else is saying and the kids are screaming that they're hungry... and yet, we dudleys often compare these times to what heaven will be like.
I'm not trying to be negative nancy, because i like boise. i love my life and i LOVE my husband. but home is home for now.
